PREMIUM SUPPLY, MAKERS OF POWER HOIST

Premium Supply was started in 2007 by Jeff Murphy. Jeff started his carrier in Fluid Power in 1989 at the age of 23 with a company called Air-Dreco. He started out building hydraulic pumps much like those used on hydraulic Dump Trailers today. He moved into outside sales in 1995 and had a territory with many Dump Trailer manufacturers. So with years of experience selling into that market, he decided to start his own hoist line called “Power Hoist”.

Premium Supply offers several sizes of hoists to fill your needs as well as direct push and tilt deck kits. Along with these hydraulic kits we offer a few unique products that set us apart from our competition.

Additional Products:

BRIDON LOAD CONTROL

We are the only Dump Kit supplier to provide the patented Bridon Load Control valve, which in our experience, has the best approach in the industry to potential hose failure.

PULSETECH

The product that gets the most attention is PulseTech. PulseTech is a company that has developed a patented high frequency pulse that is used to reverse the main aging process that kills all lead acid batteries. Lead acid batteries are the types of batteries that are used in most automobiles, boats and in electric over hydraulic dump trailers. PulseTech offers this technology in a variety of products but the one that is best suited for the dump trailer market is the SolarPulse. In most cases, when a dump trailer comes off of the production line it has a lead acid battery installed. Upon leaving the production line the trailer sits. It sits at the manufacturer waiting to be delivered to the dealer. Then it sits at the dealer waiting to be purchased. It then sits on the end user's lot until it needs to be put to work. From the moment the battery leaves the battery manufacturing plant, molecules are moving around inside the battery from the sulfuric acid cell to the lead cell. As this chemical reaction takes place, part of the chemical makeup of the sulfuric acid, sulfide, is left on the lead cell doing two bad things:

  1. Sulfide is left on the lead cell and builds up. As this takes place, the sulfide slowly takes away from the lead cell's ability to receive and store energy.
  2. Furthermore, as this buildup continues the sulfuric acid loses some of its ability to transmit energy efficiently.

The high frequency pulse dissolves the sulfide buildup giving the battery full capacity to transmit and store energy. It’s like having a battery on steroids. Any electrician or electrically minded person would tell you that when a DC circuit has a strong energy source, everything on the circuit does not have to work as hard. Therefore, most all components on the DC circuit will perform better and live longer with a strong energy source. Items like alternators, starters or electric motors on electric over hydraulic pumps used on dump trailers. Even better, imagine what this product can do for electric breakaway kits on trailers with brakes!

I know that that is a lot to take in, but when you incorporate the high frequency pulse with the solar panel or any other form of battery charging system, you get you create a much more efficient battery. This product can take an old battery and make it outperform a new battery. It can take a new battery and make it last from 3 to 10 times longer. If you are a contractor who uses a dump trailer as a tool in your business, the more dumps you can get out a dump trailer without having to replace or charge the battery can be critical. Most of the calls received on warranty for dump trailers are not because of the dump trailer itself. Most often it is a low or dead battery. Batteries on dump trailers almost never get a sufficient charge so they are destined to go bad much sooner than they should. If one of our SolarPulse solar panels is put on a dump trailer, it can and will prevent the end user from having to purchase 3 to 10 additional batteries over a given time, depending on cycle rate (how often the end user dumps the trailer under load). The end users return on investment will be seen the first time they do not have to replace the battery, and many times over for as long as they or the next owner keeps using the trailer.
